Position Summary:
The Corporate Relations Specialist is part of a collaborative sales team responsible for increasing non-dues, non-member revenue through corporate support opportunities, advertising and exhibits. This position is the sales lead for securing conference sponsor support for two (2) of ASA’s major conferences, and three (3) of ASA’s smaller conferences. In addition, this position works in tandem with the Senior Corporate Relations Manager to secure conference support for ANESTHESIOLOGY® (Annual Meeting).
This position is the liaison between the advertising sales vendor and ASA Publications to ensure their collaboration on logistics related to executing all areas of advertising sales and placement - including oversight of ad rates, ad placements, and media kit development - for all ASA advertising products. This position also works with the Senior Corporate Relations Manager to develop promotions and support projects in the department related to all corporate support product areas. In addition, the Corporate Relations Specialist is responsible for executing the sales strategy for growing corporate support revenue from international companies.
