Copywriter

Tripp Lite is seeking a motivated, well-rounded Copywriter with inbound digital marketing experience to join our Marketing Communications team. The Copywriter develops copy for a wide variety of B2B and B2C projects, including email newsletters/blasts, web pages, web banners, blogs, catalogs, ads, sales flyers, press releases and cover letters. Other projects may include product literature, technical literature, white papers, owner’s manuals, retail packaging, video scripts and product content for syndication to reseller websites. An eye for detail is essential, along with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a friendly, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze and organize information to develop concise and effective copy 
• Write, edit and proofread projects as assigned while keeping the target audience in mind 
• Develop product knowledge to clearly communicate features/benefits and differentiate products 
• Collaborate with the director of marketing communications, web and graphic designers, marketing managers, marketing and product specialists and other copywriters to meet objectives 
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across projects

Required Education and Skills:

• Degree in Communications/English/Composition or equivalent 
• Minimum 3-5 years of writing experience, including inbound digital marketing (emails, blogs, SEO, social media) 
• Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Familiarity with PC-based word processing and computer programs

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in electronics or computer-related industries
