Overview:

The Content Marketing Manager is a creative marketing communications professional, preferably with a writing background. The ideal candidate is able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends.

Primary Responsibilities:

Content creation:

  • Develop a variety of primarily customer-facing content ranging from business level to lightly technical. Content types may include:
  • Case studies
  • White papers
  • Datasheets
  • Presentations
  • Blog articles
  • Press releases
  • Web content
  • Emails
  • Video

Content marketing:

  • Use content as a means of supporting go-to-market product for industry campaigns and to drive in-bound marketing leads.
  • Develop content strategy to support marketing campaigns and drive inbound leads
  • Develop and deliver to editorial calendar
  • Measure and report on content effectiveness and optimize programs and content based on analysis
  • Implement / manage SEO program

Position Requirements:

  • BA Marketing, journalism, business, communications 
  • 5+ yrs. relevant experience 
  • Experience developing compelling content across the types listed above 
  • Prior work in B2B solutions, preferably in technology and/or software development environment. 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English 
  • Word, PPT, WordPress 
  • Video story boarding, scripting (editing) 
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it 
  • Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics 
  • Expertise in social media platforms 
  • Project management skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Exceptional time and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple stakeholders with changing priorities
