Chartwell Agency is seeking a Communications Strategist for its growing firm. The chosen candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and develop, coordinate and direct several client initiatives.

The candidate needs to be a strategic thinker who is not afraid to jump in and support all levels of marketing/public relations. The right person will be responsible for managing or assisting with accounts and will receive the benefits of working in a team environment and learning and growing with other experienced communications practitioners. Duties will include strategic planning and implementation, event planning and implementation, writing, social media, marketing (including digital and traditional advertising) and proactive media relations at a local, regional and national level. The right candidate must be a multi-tasker with a healthy respect for deadlines and client demands and a can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, high-energy, articulate person, capable of solid follow-through and focused results. Candidates must be detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should have at least five years of public relations experience with proven expertise in strategic direction, excellent writing skills, and expertise in pitching and securing interviews and articles. The salary of the candidate will be determined by the experience which s/he brings to the table.
