Business Analytics Intern

We are currently seeking an additional paid Business Analytics Intern to add to our high energy, multi-functional team. In this position you will support critical, day-to-day business activities of the partners, our project manager and our clients including financial analysis, research, SEO and activities supporting client initiatives. Note that this position could lead to a permanent full-time position for the right candidate. 

Primary Goal: Work with Apexx and client companies to help them expand and enhance their customer relationships.Intern duties may vary by active projects. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Survey result analytics and reporting 
• Conducting marketing research and analysis on clients’ competitors
• Conducting market research to analyze competitors and determining brand perceptions
• Evaluating market penetration and understanding customer needs 
• Conducting research on industry trends, marketing programs and tools 
• Social media writing and administration 
• Assist in list building and sourcing 
• Assist with decile and sales analytics

Position Qualifications: 

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Marketing or Business major preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Critical thinking and investigative questioning skills
• Ability to thrive in fast paced, varied environment
• Availability to work during normal business hours, with potential for overtime
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Understanding of SEO and/or Google Analytics helpful 
• Exceptional Excel experience including strong working knowledge of formulas, sorting and pivot tables
• Strong PowerPoint skills

NOTE:  The primary focus on this position is analysis thus the requirement for strong Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as critical thinking skills.

Apexx Group, LLC offers $12-$14 per hour (based upon experience) and a flexible work environment for our interns. Interns must complete a minimum of 20 work hours with the potential for additional hours. Hours can be scheduled Monday – Friday between 7AM – 6PM. College credits are optional, at the discretion of the intern and university.  Note that this position could lead to a permanent full-time position for the right candidate.
