What's the role?

This role leads content strategy, development, and execution for the CEO. Serving as the primary speech writer and storyteller on the integrated CEO communications team, this role is responsible for leading the development and production of compelling content across a variety of communications platforms including speeches and presentations, multimedia pieces, and content digital engagement. The ideal candidate is a strong executive counselor, a creative thinker, a compelling writer and communicator who can deliver breakthrough approaches, and an effective collaborator.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in professional corporate communications, organizational communications, integrated communications and/or public relations in corporate or agency setting.
  • Proven experience providing strategic communications counsel in support of business objectives.
  • Proven ability to build rapport, establish credibility and earn the confidence of C-suite executives and leaders across organizations through business acumen, communications expertise, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to listen to, engage, and influence executives; synthesize and relate complex information; analyze communication problems and opportunities; and develop and implement integrated communication strategies.
  • Expertise and experience implementing impactful, metrics-based executive communications programs.
  • Exceptional professional communications skills including visual storytelling, business and communications writing; public speaking in small- and large-group settings; and one-to-one personal relationships.
  • Highly skilled with a range of external and internal communications vehicles including face-to-face presentations, print and digital channels, creative multimedia solutions.
  • Superior planning, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
