We’re an award-winning integrated architecture, engineering, and construction firm with offices in both Chicago and Darien, Illinois, and we’re looking for a talented professional to join our Marketing team.

As a key member of our team, you’ll work collaboratively with Marketing teammates, our business development team, and other members of the firm to position and promote the company, and help us win new business. You’ll oversee the proposals process, as well as participate in the development of materials designed to promote our company to prospects, clients, and partners. You’ll also play a critical role in other corporate communication initiatives, such as championing the consistent use of our visual identity.

Responsibilities:

  • Pursuits “win” strategy development, interview preparation, and success metrics tracking 
  • Operational oversight and coaching of the proposals team 
  • Strategic proposal development, including messaging creation, writing/editing, and submittal design/production 
  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations and other interview materials 
  • Development of collateral materials and project sheets 
  • Assistance with other marketing and communication related activities, such as conferences, awards, office functions, client events, PR, internal communications, etc., as requested

Requirements:

  • Strong graphic, technical, and writing skills 
  • An understanding of and ability to lead strategic proposal and presentation development 
  • The ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize work assignments with critical deadlines 
  • Excellent communication skills, including persuasive writing capabilities 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications (or related discipline) 
  • 7+ years of direct experience in the A/E/C industry 
  • Proficiency with Cosential CRM a plus 
  • A sense of humor
