Position Summary:

Product Line Manager is responsible for outbound marketing activities, revenue growth opportunities, inventory management, and identifies potential products or product changes. Primary focus to establish a time-integrated plan for product introduction; developing marketing strategies, messaging and positioning for products. Conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Oversee the lead and sales tracking for campaigns. Works with executive director to develop product sales strategies and growth opportunities. Participates in the development and market research of revised and new programs, assignment of product numbers, pricing, and product production, fulfillment and transition.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assume accountability for production, marketing and distribution for NSC Driver Safety Training Courses, execute, implement and tracking process for catalog, direct mail and email campaigns with assistance from marketing and BU staff member(s). Manage marketing budget and propose necessary adjustments as needed to meet revenue goals. 
  • Development of other marketing collateral, sell sheets, customer and prospective-customer interaction including webinars, postcards, letters, brochures, posters, videos, demos, promotional incentives, gift fulfillment, etc. Oversee DDC Corporate web pages and content; manage updates, new product pages and campaign landing pages, lead forms, video previews, demos, etc. 
  • Oversee the planning cycle and development process of new programs and identify best methods for driving new product revenue growth via distribution channels and promotional activities. Review, analyze and participate in the pilot for all new and revised driver safety training courses. Participate in pricing strategy discussions. Manage customer transition process and webinars. 
  • Relationship management and customer support for NSC Chapters, DDC Instructors and Training Centers, Customers, National Account Executives, Sales and Training Center Coordinator Staff 
  • Management of product maintenance activities, inventory management, product number generation, and product exit strategies.

Education and Experience:

  • BS Marketing/Communications or similar
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a B-to-B Marketing, Product line management, Product Management
  • Develop, Implement, and Deploy Comprehensive Marketing Plan for Products, Product Lines, Customers and Markets.
  • Interaction experience with customers directly or through distribution of channels
  • Strong analytical skills and to be comfortable with spreadsheet and data analysis
  • Manage projects to achieve desired results with team environment
  • Identify sales targets and opportunities
  • Ability to work independent and be innovative in meeting overall goals of the product line
  • Strong teamwork skills and proven leadership skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication and customer skills
  • Understanding of specific markets
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, and developing business strategy
