In support of the company mission, the VP, Digital Marketing will direct and oversees an organization's online marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. Reviews changes to the online marketplace and industry and adjusts marketing plan accordingly. A perfect candidate will be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. The VP, Digital Marketing will develop a roadmap and lead the execution of digital marketing strategy. Must rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This role will report to the CMO and will collaborate closely with business leaders and the executive team.

The employee is expected to adhere to ethics policies and practices as established by OnCourse Learning.

Essential Functions:

  1. Drives the execution of the company’s marketing strategy (i.e., “gets stuff done")
  2. Manages eCommerce and corporate Websites
  3. Partners with internal teams to create cohesive, cross-functional partnerships that are aligned around key organizational goals
  4. Responsible for email marketing, content marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO) etc.
  5. Designs and leverages data analytics in developing strategies to maximize ROI and to make decisions on pricing, retention, adoption, etc.
  6. Develops thought leadership content that drives inbound engagement
  7. Manages a team of internal and external resources
  8. Leverages consumer insights and global trends to identify key issues and opportunities for profitable growth
  9. Leverages and implements technologies that increases the overall productivity of the team

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or related advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of marketing experience – including work in B2B and B2C environments
  • Experience building and developing teams
  • Strong leadership, writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker focused on results and is also able to deliver tactical projects when needed
  • A background in financial services or healthcare is a plus
