Marketing Event Associate

Independent Pharmacy Cooperative is looking for a full-time marketing team member to coordinate all aspects of member event/meeting planning as well as assist the corporate marketing communications effort. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to bring creativity, strong organizational skills, as well as oral and written communication talents.

Hours will be 8:30 – 5:00 Monday through Friday. Competitive wage and benefit package offered in a casual work environment.

Responsibilities:

Event Coordination

• Assist member pharmacies with grand opening & anniversary celebrations
• Research and secure locations for dinner events nationwide
• Register representation at regional trade shows & conferences; corporate event assistance
• Accredit Continuing Education Courses; maintain budgets; and, provide program reports
• Coordinate marketing materials, printing, communications, press releases, prizes, give away items
• Facilitate shipping of materials to and from events

Communications

• Produce copy for newsletters, sell sheets, website, social & other communications
• Contribute to video & photo projects

Inventory & Ordering

• Research, order & maintain inventory of branded apparel, give-away items

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field or Associate’s degree plus 1-2 years’ experience working in a marketing environment.  
• New college graduates encouraged to apply.
