As a Marketing Specialist on the Lead Generation team, you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Acquisition team in a wide range of acquisition marketing tactics to help deliver qualified leads to our travel agencies as part of a formal lead generation program. Though many of the lead acquisition efforts will have a digital focus, we are looking for a well-rounded marketing candidate who has experience in many areas of acquisition marketing. With each new marketing vertical that we launch in our lead generation efforts, a different set of acquisition tactics will be needed and you must be comfortable changing your focus and marketing plan to help both leisure and corporate travel verticals succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing leaders on the Content Marketing and Lead Acquisition teams to understand the consumer for various leisure and corporate marketing verticals and assist in putting together the best marketing plan for that segment 
  • Support day-to-day execution and optimization of digital campaigns, including paid search (PPC), social media and display media with a desire to stay on top of new technologies, vendors and innovations within the paid digital space 
  • Coordinate B2B marketing efforts, including tradeshows, webinars, list rentals and surveys 
  • Manage special events on behalf of local markets with a focus on acquiring new customers, including organizing event logistics, budgeting, hosting planning and debrief sessions, and communicating event details to our travel agencies 
  • Buy media (TV, radio, print, digital) for geo-targeted promotions as necessary 
  • Foster excellent communication between internal teams as well as with our travel agencies 
  • Execute other lead acquisition tactics as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Marketing, Sales or equivalent) 
  • 2+ years marketing experience, including varied traditional and digital marketing responsibilities 
  • Ability to travel up to 5-10% each year, attending conferences and events as requested 
  • Proficiency in using and understanding sales and marketing automation tools – salesforce, marketing automation (e.g. Marketo), email systems, social media platforms, digital webinar tools, etc. 
  • Attention to detail as you prioritize multiple projects 
  • Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks assigned as needed 
  • Working knowledge of Google AdWords, Bing Ads & Google Analytics 
  • Self-Motivated to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external partners 
  • Travel industry knowledge is a plus
