Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who is a brand storyteller and loves the challenge of bringing order to chaos, finding simple solutions to complex problems, and is constantly seeking new ways to push a brand forward. This person should revel in the smell of a freshly printed brochure and geek out at a great integrated marketing campaign. Beyond simply making a project visually stunning, the ideal candidate will work through all the usual suspects in the Marketing world; brochures, videos, digital content, etc.

As the Senior Art Director you are a mentor when needed, and provide clear, constructive feedback to your peers and outside vendors. Responsibilities:

  • Create concepts, storyboards, layouts, and final file production 
  • Work in partnership with outside vendors and design resources to extend campaigns, photography, and design work 
  • Develop concept rationales for campaigns and projects 
  • Present concepts to internal teams 
  • Work closely with Creative and Marketing teams to ensure campaigns are on-brief and on-time 
  • Maintain consistent visual tone and brand alignment across all touchpoints 
  • Review printed proofs for accuracy and final sign-off 
  • Provide creative guidance to other Creative Team staff 
  • Take direction and critique well 
  • Collaborate with a team and work autonomously ‪
  • Follow workflows, processes, and brand guidelines, but suggest improvements when necessary 
  • Manage feedback and requested changes with little supervision 
  • Meet daily and weekly deadlines for multiple projects at varying stages of completion 
  • Manage project files, assets, and outputs through to completion

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience, preferably with some agency experience 
  • BFA degree or equivalent in visual communication such as graphic design 
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. Any other Adobe product knowledge is a plus, but not required 
  • Expert understanding of printing techniques and production processes 
  • Familiarity with the processes and technical requirements for web media, email media, and video 
  • Background in art directing video projects 
  • Versatility and conceptual thinking 
  • Ability to grasp concepts and instructions quickly 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and successfully meet deadlines 
  • Strong attention to detail
