  • Visit each client 1-4 times per year, as determined by you, the client, and our executive team.

Blend's Passion:

We believe that marketing is most successful when marketing disciplines and strategies work together in concert across all channels, centered on the customer. Unfortunately, many small and midsize businesses cannot pull this off themselves, because they can’t afford a full integrated marketing communications team in-house. That’s where we come in.

Blend's Culture:

It's possible to be both laid backandpassionate. We have a team of people who prove it every day. One minute we can be rigorously debating strategic options for a client, the next we can be playing ping-pong together. There's no competition here, but we push each other and ourselves to be the best at what we do.

Our core values are love, excellence, initiative, humility, creativity, fun, honesty, learning, and contagious passion. We'll talk about those quite a bit when we meet, because every one of us at Blend cares deeply about them, and anyone who joins our team will value them too.

About You:

  • You have a passion to help companies with great products win and retain customers in a highly competitive and ever-changing space.
  • You know what makes a successful lead gen campaign.
  • You know how to prioritize initiatives amidst the million things thatcouldbe done and choose initiatives that will lead to results.
  • You understand the benefits and drawbacks to the major attribution models.
  • You understand B2B software and services buyers and you know by experience what types of content and messaging will resonate with each audience.
  • You understand how to develop winning top and bottom of the funnel campaigns.
  • You’re familiar with how Marketo and Salesforce should function together; and you know how to deliver MQLs to Sales.
  • You love learning and can just as easily research technical details about a client’s product as you can browse a social feed to stay current with what's happening in the industry.
  • You're an ideas person—you consistently generate quality ideas that can be worked into marketing plans and campaigns.
  • You enjoy writing and presenting strategic marketing plans
  • You may not be a data analyst, but you love poring over the numbers and could be described as a data-driven marketer.
  • You’re great at connecting with people on the phone, by email and in person.
  • You view leadership as a function and a service, not as a way to rank someone’s importance.
  • People love working with you because you’re not only super smart and talented but also humble and genuinely nice.

Education and Experience:

  • Our ideal candidate has the following. If you’re close to this ideal combination, let us know how you stack up to this list and why you’d be a great fit.
  • Experience on the business side of a SaaS/High Tech company as a director or higher, or as a director of marketing efforts at an agency or SaaS company.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience (website, social, content, PPC, SEO, etc.), ideally in the SaaS/High Tech space.
  • Experience in programs like AdWords, Facebook PowerEditor, Marketo, and Salesforce.
  • An MBA, background in economics and pricing, and/or business consulting experience.
  • A history of marketing success including successful lead gen campaigns, increased social/content engagement, increased MQLs, increased brand awareness, and a growth in sales revenue attributed to marketing.

  • Relocation to Madison, WI or northern CA is required.
  • Some travel is required (6-10 short trips per year, typically within the USA)

Competitive salary with 11.5 paid holidays, PTO, family health insurance (100% of premiums plus first $1000 of your deductible), dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability insurance.
